Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Square Quiche PanCustomer Review: Kaiser Square Quiche Pan (Antihaft) is Magnificent! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the biggest Quiche pan that I've ever seen. If you want to serve a lot of Quiche Lorraine to party guests or your family, this is the pan for you. A recipe for Quiche Lorraine comes with it. Any crust-enclosed, semi-liquid, egg-cheese filled pie made with this pan will flare from 9.75"-10" square on its deeply fluted bottom crust to 12" square on the outer edges of its smooth-edged top crust. It is so big that you could use it to make a Bavarian- or Austrian-style cheesecake, with a shortbread crust and a baked Quark cheese filling, that would stun 9-16 cheesecake lovers. Beware though. You'll need a 14" square plate to present your gorgeous fluted pastries in the style that they deserve! Although you can present and serve food from this pan, magnificently, I wouldn't abuse it with metal tools. Use non-damaging nylon spatulas, instead. Kaiser recommends a baking temp. of 320 F. (160 C.) and hand washing of this pan with mild soap and water.
Description of Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Square Quiche PanKaiser Bakeware brought you the square springform and now lends that same technology to the LaForme Square Quiche. Whether preparing quiche Lorraine for brunch or baking a pear tart for a dinner party, Kaiser's square quiche pan uniformly cooks any cherished recipe. The reassuring heft of its heavy-gauge metal construction creates a durable pan free of the bending and buckling common with flimsier materials. Combining two-layer nonstick coating--on both interior and exterior surfaces--with a removable pan base makes extracting baked goods effortless and cleanup equally simple. Thanks to Kaiser's cut-resistant Magnum coating, the pan base can also be used as serveware--simply bypass messy transfers. Hand wash with hot water and non-abrasive soap as needed. Manufactured in Germany, this pan measures 12 by 12 by 1-1/2 inches, features charming scalloped edging, and comes with Kaiser's 5-year warranty. -- Amy Arnold
